METHOD OF JOINTING PLASTIC SHEATHED CABLES WITH ELECTRIC HEATING WIRE

Abstract : This paper introduces a newly developed method of jointing plastic sheathed cables by means of an electric heating wire, in particular with regard to polyethylene sheathed telephone cable. The electric heating wire joints the cable sheath to the sleeve made of the same plastic material through application of heat. (Author)
