Aplicación de metodología de evaluación PCI a pavimento flexible en la localidad de Engativá

In the locality of Engativa, its inhabitants travel for leisure, education, medical attention, etc.; The proper functioning and maintenance of its local and arterial road network is essential, since this is the means by which its inhabitants and / or passers-by connect to meet basic daily or recreational needs. The objective of this work is to perform the evaluation of flexible pavements in road segments in the locality. To perform the evaluation, the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method was used, a method constantly used in the engineering area, and more specifically in our city by the Urban Development Institute (IDU). From the application of the PCI methodology, I know that he knew the state of the pavements, finding that flexible pavements are in a very bad state with 22.2%, bad 11.1%, regular with 22.2%, in good condition 33.3% , and excellent with 11.2%. With the knowledge of this information it is possible to propose maintenance and rehabilitation actions.
