Simple Preparation of 3-Oxoalkyltriphenylphosphonium Salts Effected by Using 2,6-Lutidinium Salts.

Michael addition of triphenylphosphine to α, β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds was effected in dichloromethane by the action of 2, 6-lutidinium salts to give the corresponding 3-oxoalkyl-triphenylphosphonium salts.
