Systems and methods for operating a vehicle with a manual gearbox

There are presented systems and methods for operating a vehicle including a manual transmission. In one example, a clutch actuator responsive to a position of a manually operated clutch pedal, set in such a way to operate a clutch so that the vehicle can be stopped while the engine is running or not running, without the driver depresses the clutch pedal.
