The invention discloses a 3D printer for printing a suspended structure based on liquid buoyancy support and a printing method. The 3D printer comprises a printing device, a liquid supporting device, a control device and a power source. When the printing device is used for printing the suspended structure, the control device controls the liquid level height of the liquid supporting device to be matched with the preset height of the printed suspended structure, and buoyancy of the liquid supporting device is used for supporting the suspended structure so that the structure deformation can be prevented. When the 3D printer is used for printing the suspended structure, under the supporting action of the liquid supporting device, the connecting structure between a previous layer and a current printing layer is made stable, real object suspended structure deformation can be avoided, and printing forming of an entire real object is guaranteed. Hence, a three-dimensional structure not capable of being formed in the prior art is manufactured through the 3D printing mode. Meanwhile, solid state materials can be removed conveniently, and the materials only need to be taken out from a container to be cleaned up after printing forming.
