A note on the norm of an algorithm for reconstruction from Radon data on the ball

A lower bound of the norm of Xu's algorithm, as a sequence of operators, for the Radon transform based on orthogonal expansions on the unit ball is obtained, which, in conjunction with the known upper bound, gives the exact estimate for the norm of the algorithm.
