Magnetic and Structural Properties Analysis of Cerium Substituted Nickel Zinc Ferrites

The influence of Ce3+ ions substitution for Fe3+ ions in Ni0.42Zn0.58CexFe2-xO4 (x = 0, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08, 0.10) compounds on the selected magnetic properties and structure were investigated. The samples were synthesized by means of wet glycine-nitrate technology annealed at the temperature 1200°C for 6 hours. The wide spectrum of characterization methods, such as X-ray spectroscopy, EDAX analysis, SEM micrographs, thermomagnetic analysis, magnetic hysteresis loop measurement and complex permeability spectra were used for the study of relevant properties of synthetized materials.
