Image Enhancement Technology in the Target Detection of Visible Light

This paper studies the image enhancement technology in common use nowdays.The paper first analyzes the characteristics of the target image, and introduces the common filter methods, including medium-pass filtering, high-pass filtering and winner filtering,which are used to filter the given image, and thus proposes a maximum summation filtering image enhancement method ,which is also used to filter the given image. The comparisons of all the methods for the improvement of target Signal Noise Ratio in the process of image are also presented. The results indicate that the maximum summation filtering method is much better than the others.
