Influencing factors on separating boron isotope by boron trifluoride and anisole system

2011
Compared with other methods for separating boron isotope, the system of anisole and boron trifluoride has lots of advantages. The impacts of temperature, pressure and impurity on the experimental result of the system were researched.Depending on the experimental results and the reference literature, the anisole can be combined more completely by keeping the temperature of the recombiner at 10 ℃.The change of temperature with the detecting site was obtained. There is a site where temperature can reach as high as 60 ℃ in the recombiner. The reason why it is formed was discussed. The link between temperature and pressure in the middle part of recombiner was drawn. The change of graph is blamed on the gaseous impurities. The mass fraction of boron at the outlet of decomposer was measured to be 62.15×10-6.The impacts of impurities on the reaction and ways of reducing them were discussed. Therefore, the desired separation effect can be achieved only by keeping the whole system steady and lessening the possibility of forming the impurities.
