Expression and Identification of Truncated hNDRG2 Gene in pEGFP-C2 Expression Vector

Objective: To clone and express the truncated hNDRG2 gene in eukaryotic expression system and to identify the fused protein.Methods: The truncated hNDRG2 gene was amplified from pGKBT7 plasmid containing hNDRG2 with PCR,and cloned into the expression vector pEGFP-C2.The expression product was observed under the fluorescence microscope and detected by Western blot-ting.Results: A positive protein band which was accordant with interest protein was found in the expression product at the molecular weight about 67 KD,and this band was specifically recognized by anti-Ndrg2 monoclonal antibody.Conclusion: The truncated hNDRG2 gene was cloned into the expression vector correctly and expressed successfully in eukaryotic expression system.
