A mobile unit terminal apparatus capable of suppressing a reduction of speed result that would otherwise occur when a rake receiver cannot correctly determine the speed data due to an AFC control or the like. A comparing part (16) reads a current speed result from a speed result storing part (18) and compares a speed data determined by a rake receiver (13) with the current speed result. When the speed data is higher than the current speed result, a filter part (17) does not filter the speed data determined by the rake receiver (13) but directly stores it, as a speed result, into the speed result storing part (18). When the speed data is lower than the current speed result, the filter part (17) averages the speed data determined by the rake receiver (13) and the current speed result and stores the averaged speed data, as a speed result, into the speed result storing part (18).
