According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (2018), suicide is a leading cause of death amid older adults [ ]the purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which church attendance and religious coping predict suicide risk in a sample of homebound older adults in the midst of COVID-19 [ ]the purpose of the current study is to explore the extent to which R/S factors, namely church attendance and positive religious coping, protect against suicide risk in homebound older adults in the context of COVID-19 The interviews consisted of administering a set of measures that have been piloted with older adults (Peterson et al , 2017) Because this included measures of suicide ideation and risk, interviewers were also trained in a safety protocol
