Research on strategic analysis model and development approaches for institutions of higher education

This paper applies the Boston matrix to establish an analysis model of Hubei higher educational universities' development status based on researching 31 regional higher education institutes' scales, growth rates and RD finally proposes strategic approaches which could promote further development of higher education in Hubei province and realize the objective of “Educational Powerful Province”.
