Metal-organic frameworks and their composites

2021
Abstract Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for liquid-phase reactions are also among the chosen solids. MOFs arose as an exciting class of materials with many specific properties, along with high porosity, diverse composition, robust porous structures, and scalable functionality. MOF composite functional materials can act with MOFs to show improved performance, selectivity, and stability in a variety of chemical transformations. Creating composites based on MOF will make them the best choice to detect different things such as biomolecules, cations, anions, gas molecules, and organic compounds. This chapter addresses the MOFs and their composites.
