Study on structures of insect community with using ultraviolet light trap in the summer rice field of Jiangyan city

The preliminary investigation on the structures of insect community with the alluring insect lamp in Jiangyan City,Jiangsu Province was carried out.The results showed that the whole insect community consisted of 45 species in 6 orders;the number of Lepidoptera was the most and that of Coleoptera was the next.Naranga aenescens,Chaphalocrocis medinalis and Sogatella furcifera were key species of the insect community.Their dominant index were 35.69%、24.02% and 14.08% respectively.The experimental results could provide the basis for the IPM in the ricer field of jiangyan city.
