High performance GaSb superluminescent diodes for tunable light source at 2 μm and 2.55 μm

We report on GaSb-based superluminescent diodes emitting an output power of 70 mW at 2 μm and the first demonstration of 2.55μm SLD with mW-level output power at room temperature for compact gas sensors.
