Review on Investigation and Application of Chinese Caterpillar Fungus

Chinese Caterpillar Fungus is a sort of medicinal fungi resources distributing at highland shrubs meadow and alpine meadow with the height of 3600-4500m on Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. Much attention was paid for it due to it unique biological characteristic,medical and economic value. The newest research process of its distribution,host,active ingredient and pharmacology was reviewed in this paper.
