NGHIÊN CỨU CHIẾT XUẤT TINH DẦU SẢ (CYMBOPOGON SP.) VÀ MÀNG TANG [LITSEA CUBEBA L. (LOUR.) PERS.] THU TẠI THÁI NGUYÊN

Lemongrass ( Cymbopogon sp. ) and Mang tang [Litsea cubeba L. (Lour.) Pers.] have many benefits, but the production of these spiece’s essential oils is still small, low in performance, and does not meet the market demand. This study is carried out with the aim of determining the optimal conditions in the process of distillation of Mang tang and Lemongrass’ essential oils in Thai Nguyen. Essential oil is extracted by steam distillation. The parameters surveyed are material size, amount of water, storage time. The optimal condition for distillation of Lemongrass essential oil is size of materials 1-1.5cm, storage time of 3 hours, amount of water equal to or 1.5 times the amount of ingredients. The optimal condition for distillation of Mang tang essential oil is 1mm of material size, amount of water 1.5 times the amount of ingredients, 2.5 hours of distillation time. Research results will help increase the efficiency of the distillation of essential oils of Lemongrass and Mang tang.
