Design of Wireless Sensor Networks for Detection of Forest Fire

2017
This paper presents the design of forest monitoring system that can provide early warning of any changes in those values that may indicates the presence or risk of forest fire. One such methodology is the use of wireless sensor networks or WSNs for detection of deforestation activities (forest fire). This system for monitoring temperature, humidity, pressure etc. for the prevention of forest fire using WSN. An initial study compared with the traditional techniques for detection of wildfire. Then study causes of forest fires like how to prevent them in necessary have a clear idea of how to implement a proper network design that is capable of detecting possible changes in the environment. The ultimate Goal of this paper is to demonstrate the feasibility of a monitoring system based on Wireless Sensor Networks. It is capable of sending data to a server, allowing to intervene promptly, in potentially hazardous situation for environment and human activities.
