Sheet structural gas generator

PURPOSE: To provide a sheet structural gas generator that is ameliorated of its housing strengtheningly, and able to seal in a gas generating medium through a nonwelding process, so advantageous from the standpoint of manufacturing equipment in addition to lightweightiness. CONSTITUTION: A combustion chamber 10 is formed by a cumbustor cup 14 with a ring top face whose inner edge is clamped to a top wall peripheral edge of a central tubular holder 4 by means of riveting 28. There is provided a combustor plate 16 being welded to a peripheral flange inner edge of the combustor cup at an outer edge in order to close this combustion chamber and welded to an opposite end edge part of the holder at the inner edge, and further it has a diffuser 12 which covers a top wall of the central tubular holder and a top face of the combustor cup to be connected to this top wall, thereby forming a double wall surface, thus an end edge of the peripheral flange 15 of the combustor cup is constituted so as to be welded to an inner wall of an extension part of the diffuser.
