Synthesis and preliminary antitumor activities of 1-(toluene-4-sulfonyl)-[1,5,8])triazecan-3-ol

A convenient and efficient synthesis of 1-(toluene-4-sulfonyl)-[1,5,8]triazecan-3-ol was described.Its structure was established by mass spectrum and 13C NMR technique.The antitumor activities of this compound were measured against tumor cell lines using MTT assay.The compound displayed strong cytotoxic properties to A549,but no activity to Hela cell even if the concentration of this compound was up to 1×10-3 mol/L.
