Paralleling of inverters with dynamic load sharing

2016
This paper presents Paralleling of inverters with dynamic load sharing. The inverters with lesser power handling capability are paralleled to support the required load instead of going for one inverter with high power handling capability. This reduces the cost of installation and increases reliability of system. In this paper active paralleling technique with VSI inverters is implemented. The RMS Current Control technique with droop in output voltage is implemented to control the inverters. The LCL filter is used at inverter output for wave shaping and reduced noise level in output. PI compensator is used in feedback loop to attain the stability of system. The inverter model is developed and simulated by using PSIM (Powersim) software. Two DSP-based single-phase paralleling inverters are designed and implemented. Simulation and experimental results are all reported, confirming the validity of the proposed concept.
