Viscoelastic behaviour in the molten state of low density polyethylene‐polybutene 1 blends
1992
The viscoelastic behaviour was studied according to temperature, shearing stress and shearing rate. Correction of experimental data has been performed and fow activation energies at a constant shear stress determined, whilst elasticity was investigated by means of Barus factor. An investigation was performed on variations of the real η' and imaginary η parts of the complex viscosity with regard to the pulsation frequency. The Cole-Cole and the Smyth rpresentations were used to determine the Newtonian viscosity η 0 , the parameter of distribution of relaxation time and the average relaxation time
