Study on fatigue performance of subway wheel pair based on metal magnetic memory effect

2019
In order to analyze the fatigue performance of subway wheel pairs in different life cycles, a nondestructive testing method based on metal magnetic memory effect was adopted to collect magnetic memory signals of subway wheel pairs in service of zero years, three years and five years respectively, and the finite element simulation software is used to analyze the fatigue of subway wheel pair material. The results illustrate that the normal components of magnetic memory signal change regularly with the increase of the fatigue load. When the life cycle of the sample increases from $1.25 \times 10^{8}$ times to $2.08 \times 10^{8}$ times, the p-p value of the signal increased from 0.8A/m to 1.2A/m; in the spectrum analysis, the bandwidth was reduced from 16mm to 10mm, and the mean amplitude of the signal increased by 1.5 times; in the gradient analysis, the average signal gradient increased from 5.54 A/m 2 to 16.7 A/m 2 . The normal component of magnetic memory signal in the test has the same trend.
