ManitobaSat-1: Making Space for Innovation

CubeSat missions provide an excellent, low-cost platform for demonstrating new technologies while raising public awareness for space science and technology. This paper presents novel technologies and design approaches used for the ManitobaSat-1 CubeSat mission including innovative project management and teaming strategies, modularity, technology readiness level advancement, sophisticated test and verification methods, and a comprehensive educational outreach strategy.
