Analysis of signal environment on 1030/1090MHz aeronautical surveillance systems

While estimating the operational performance of 1030/1090 MHz aeronautical radio systems, it must be determined whether or not they will interfere harmfully with each other by sharing frequency bands. The performance of these systems is estimated using interference measures such as received pulse densities. This paper provides the results of the analysis of a 1090 MHz signal environment recorded through flight experiments.
