A method to quantify feeding of seabirds on discard from the shrimp fishery in the North Sea

Abstract Re-catch experiments employing a stow net, which was towed behind a shrimp vessel, showed that the proportion of discarded roundfish preyed upon by gulls ranged from 68 to 90% during daytime.
