Determination of solasonine in Solanum nigrum L. by HPLC.

To establish a quantitative method to analysis solasonine in Solanum Nigrum L..The samples were separated at 30℃ on Agilent Zorbax SB-C18 column(4.6×150mm,5μm)with acetonitrile-water-1%phosphoric as mobile phase.Flow rate was at 1.0ml/min and the detection wavelength was set at 205nm.The calibration curve was linear over the range from 0.812 to 8.120μg,r=0.9998 and the average recovery was 100.22%.This method was simple and could be used to determine solasonine in Solanum Nigrum L.with satisfactory accuracy and reproducibility.
