An integrated processing method and intelligent control system of Hemerocallis citrina

Hemerocallis citrina has a long history of cultivation in our country. Its processing generally includes the green killing and drying. In this paper, an intelligent control system was designed to process the Hemerocallis citrina automatically and pollution-freely. Multiple sensors were used to monitor the environmental parameters of the drying room. A data fusion algorithm was applied to improve the measurement accuracy. The ultraviolet irradiation process was added during different drying stages to effectively control the degree of browning reaction and improve Hemerocallis citrina's appearance. And an optimal drying temperature curve was proposed. Experi-ments were carried out in the Hemerocallis citrina planting base in Yanchi county of Ningxia Province. Results showed that after the application of the proposed system and processing procedure, the quality of the dried Hemerocallis citrina can reach the national first class standard, the drying time can be reduced effectively, and the production efficiency has been improved greatly.
