Phylogenetic Relationships of Five Genera Based on Partial Sequences of COII Gene (Orthoptera: Gryllidae)

2006
The mtDNA-COII gene partial sequence of five genera of Gryllidae (Velari- fictorus, Loxoblemmus, Teleogryllus, Gryllodes, Gryllus) and one species of outgroup (Allonemobius socius) are sequenced and analyzed, and based on these molecular data the phylogenetic relationships are established. Results show that the content of A, T, C and G was 34.8%, 35.3%, 19.3% and 10.6% respectively, and A+T (70.1%) in five genera of Gryllidae are little higher than Thysanura and Oncopeltus fasciatus (Hemiptera). Analyses of five genera of Gryllidae indicate: Teleogryllus and Gryllus have close relationship. And relationship between Teleogryllus and Velarifictorus was more closer than Loxoblemmus. In clade Loxoblemmus, L. doenitai and L. detectusfirstly clustered firstly and then with L. equestris together, which was identical with that of traditional morphology.
