I nostri pensieri sono nostri

2019
The author proposes a path of approach to unconscious social phenomena that confirm Freud’s intuition when he argues that one of the main wounds of humanity in the encounter with psychoanalysis is the realization that “I don’t own my own home. A wound that may come from the discovery that some thoughts that we consider ours are, upon close examination, the result of an unconscious import from the outside. The family, in the first instance, and then the enlarged group on the one hand exert a uniform pressure, and, on the other, the tendency of each of us to conformism presses for an adjustment that guarantees us belonging. The combined action of the two forces seems to make any claim to an authentic and creative individual identity illusory. KEYWORDS: social unconscious, Influence of the other, Negative and positive paranoia, Impregnation Globalization and xenophobia.
