Technology and Practice of Connection and Transmission to Promote the Efficient Utilization of Offshore Wind Power

With the Offshore wind power developing from offshore decentralized to intensive, Researching a reasonable collection and transmission system is the key to achieve the safe, economical and efficient grid connection of offshore wind power. Offshore wind power cluster collection and transmission planning mainly includes the layout of the Offshore booster station, the selection of medium and high voltage submarine cable voltage levels, the number of submarine cables, and the selection of the transmission mode to the grid after collection. A topology sequence of offshore wind power collection and transmission with different capacities and different offshore distances is proposed, the adaptability of different plans for typical scenarios is analyzed. It can provide a certain reference and guide for the planning of large-scale offshore wind power collection and grid connection.
