Studies onphytoplankton of river waghur in Jalgoan Area of Khandesh Region, (MS) India

The research paper deal with the distribution, abundance and seasonal fluctuations of phytoplanktonin relation to various non-point sources of pollutant in river waghur (2012–2014). Phytoplankters were studied and compare with control zone. The dominance of diatom flora at all the sites were recorded. Higher abundance of Myxophyceae from S2 to S4 sites indicated the organic enrichment of these habitats. However, disturbance due to group of these sites, which enlighten the importance of non-point sources to cause pollution of waghur river water.
