Application of wireless sensor network technology and remote sensing in environmental geological monitoring of coal mine

Aiming at the main problems of environmental geological monitoring in mining areas,the paper analyzed the difference between remote sensing and wireless sensor network technologies,then put forward a concept for combining wireless sensor network technology and remote sensing in the environmental geological monitoring.The key problems and challenges of this design were discussed.Moreover,a dynamic model of Net Primary Productivity(NPP) based on these two technologies which could real-time reflect the changes of the environment geology in mining areas was given.
