Theoretical and experimental studies of the electron transfer reactions in the cytochrome chain: II. Fitting of the experimental data☆

Abstract The experimental curves of cytochromes a , c , and c 1 were fitted to the kinetic model presented in the first part of this study. Quantitative agreement between the experiments and the model has been found. Estimation of the initial conditions for computer treatment of the cytochrome kinetics, the applicability of the nonlinear optimization program to the biological sciences and the determination of the errors with respect to the constants are presented.
