Magnetic anisotropy and reversal in epitaxial FeGa/MgO(001) films deposited at oblique deposition

2015
Magnetostrictive FeGa alloys in thin-film form have attracted extensive attention due to the application in micro-electrical-mechanical systems, multiferroic composites, and spintronics. Magnetic anisotropy, which can be effectively controlled by the methods including oblique deposition, annealing in magnetic field, etc, is a fundamental parameter of magnetic films, and therefore determines the magnetization reversal and the practical applications.
