Volatile constituents of Psidium myrsinoides O. Berg

Abstract The chemical composition of the leaf oil ofPsidium myrsinoides collected in Brasilia—DF, Center of Brazil, was analyzed by GC/MS. Twenty-six constituents were identified. β-Caryophyllene (22,4%) and caryophyllene oxide (19,7%) were the major constituents.
