O discurso do prazer: uma análise semiótica dos memoriais acadêmicos (The pleasure discourse: a semiotics analysis of academic autobiographies)

We propose a semiotics discursive study of the enunciator's ethos in the academic autobiographies produced at the Letters School and the Bioscience Institute of the University of Sao Paulo from the 70s until now. This study allows us to observe some genre changes and their effects on the ethos projection. Among the many changes, the singularity effect and the pleasure dimension are emphasized and both are incorporated as a requirement of most recent works.
