Inductive tilt sensor with magnets and magnetic fluid

The paper presents a new type of tilt inductive sensor using four magnets and a magnetic fluid. The determination of the sensor sensibility is performed with theoretical predictions based on the potential magnetic energy function of the assembly constituted by two repulsion magnets. This energy function is experimentally determined. The sensor sensibility varies in conformity to a power law depending on the initial distance between two repulsion magnets. The sensor supplies a signal proportional with the tilt.
