Environmental Assessment for the Continued Exclusive Use of Department of the Army Land Located at U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground by Members of the U.S. Air Force

Abstract : The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has prepared environmental documentation for the proposed continued exclusive use of Department of the Army land located at U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground by members of the U.S. Air Force. This environmental assessment (EA) addresses the potential environmental, socioeconomic, and cultural impacts of this proposal and its alternatives. Based on the environmental impact analyses described in this EA it has been determined that implementation of the Proposed Action would not have a significant impact on the quality of the natural or the human environment. Because no significant environmental impact would result from implementation of the Proposed Action, an environmental impact statement is not required and a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) will be published in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act.
