Differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells into nerve cells.

Both in vivo and in vitro,MSCs can differentiate into Central Nervous System (CNS) cells,but there are many uncertainties,such as morphous of typical neurons,specific labeling,excitability,synaptic connection with other neurons,synaptic potential,and whether the induction of fully functional neurons from BMSCs is possible.We aim to review the studies of MSCs induced differentiating into CNS cells on the present status,problems and future.
