Research on Millimeter Wave Phased Array Antenna for 5G Communication

In order to meet the needs of 5G millimeter wave communication, a 64-cell millimeter wave phased array antenna is integrated with antenna array, feed network, power network and wave control network in a multi-function antenna board. The transceiver channel is integrated with multifunction transceiver chip, which simplifies the topology of the transceiver link of phased array antenna. The size of the phased array antenna is 130mm$\times$80mm$\times$45mm, which can meet the requirements of light weight and modularization. The tested millimeter wave phased array antenna has a range of ± 45 degrees, and the emission of EIRP is greater than 51dBm. The cross-polarization performance is better than 30dBc. The 64-cell millimeter wave phased array antenna can meet the needs of 5G millimeter wave communication.
