Dear Editor, Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an emerging infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which is a highly contagious and pathogenic virus. In December 2019, the World Health Organization (WHO) was notified of a cluster of atypical pneumonia cases in Wuhan, China.
