New Gypsophila paniculata Cultivars ‘Yunxing 17’ and ‘Yunxing 23’

Two new Gypsophila paniculata cultivars,‘Yunxing 17’and ‘Yunxing 23’,were selected from Gypsophila ‘Perfect’ and Gypsophila ‘Fairy’ introduced from Shanghai for tiral,respecitively. ‘Yun-xing 17’ was much more uniform than Gypsophila ‘Perfect’ in flowering with a very high rate of inflorescence. ‘Yunxing 23’ had a strong sprouting ability and hardly went into rosette naturally,and higher yield per plant than Gypsophila ‘Fairy’.
