The invention discloses an output filter of a wireless electric power transmission system, belonging to the technical field of wireless electric power transmission. The output filter comprises n grades of filtering modules which are connected with one another in sequence. An input end of the output filter is connected with the output end of a rectifier of the wireless electric power transmission system; and the output end of the output filter is connected with a power supply load. Each grade of the filtering module comprises a resonant inductor and a resonant capacitor which are connected with each other in series. The invention further discloses a method for designing the output filter of the wireless electric power transmission system, and each resonant capacitance value is determined according to the frequency of each grade of the filtering module subjected to resonant wave filtering and resonant inductance values. According to the output filter provided by the invention, the aim of filtering the resonant waves with a plurality of frequencies is achieved through connecting a plurality of grades of filtering modules in series, and the output filter is applicable to the wireless electric power transmission system.
