Supply Chain and the Sustainability Management

The world’s dynamic business environment relies a lot on supply chain and sustainability management for maintaining competitive performance. A successful supply chain depends on excellence at strategic and operative levels. Thus, achieving product and service sustainability is an important concern for researchers and scientists. This research presents the performance management and optimization of supply chains by suggesting a sustainable supplier performance method for the manufacturing industry. The proposed method is validated by a numerical example. VIKOR, an MCDM method, is used to calculate suppliers’ efficiency scores for the Indian manufacturing industry.
