Teaching Practice of Data Structure Based on Rain Classroom and BOPPPS Model

Abstract –-The development of information! technology makes the deep integration of information technology and classroom teaching, and also brings new ways to the student-centered teaching reform of universities. This paper combines the Rain Classroom and BOPPPS model and applies them to the teaching practice of the data structure course. In order to grasp the situation of the students, the Rain Classroom is used to conduct a questionnaire survey to analyze the theoretical basis, programming basis, and favorite teaching methods of the students, which provides a basis for effective classroom teaching. In the course organization, the Rain Classroom is used to grasp the preview link before class and analyze the preview situation of students, so as to grasp the knowledge points that students have difficulty in understanding, and use the analysis results to guide the organization of participatory leaning process. This makes the BOPPPS model can be better applied to the classroom. The teaching results show that this method can stimulate students’ initiative and better participate in classroom teaching.
