The present volume, "Schooling and Society: The Ordering and Reordering of Knowledge in the Western Middle Ages", contains new studies on a wide range of matters pertaining to scholarship (and to changes in scholarship, in the European West) from the early Middle Ages throught to the Renaissance and beyond.
