A Review of the Studies on Perspectives in Cultural Revolution Language

Previous research on Cultural Reveloution language involoves its rhetoric,stylistics,pragmatics and gender language feactures which are its defining features rooted in the special social,political and mass-psychological environment of that time.The conclusion of the research shows that as a social cultural phenomenon in a specific period of time.Cultural Revolution language is engraved with a special cultural mark of formatted,stereotyped,standardized and brutish characteristics.Such language is certainly easy to understand,but strong political overtones,obscured language user's individual emotions,thus it had gradually made language connotions get pale,language expression function get powerless,and language vitality get shrinking.
