The learning of mathematics demands continuous processes that start from the beginning of the number to the solution of problems that is the current approach and develops four competencies: Solve problems of quantity; Solves problems of regularity, equivalency and change; Solves problems of form, movement and location; Solves problems of data management and uncertainty. Therefore, the apprentice needs to face everyday life and it is necessary to develop playful strategies through play, to develop concrete operations that allow them, then, to understand each statement of the problem, choose their own strategies, represent, socialize, and generate new problems. This session, called "Compare the mass of objects using other objects as referents", corresponds to the area of mathematics and is developed in the first grade of primary education, taking into account the Problem Solving Approach
